· Are there times when you arrive at work prepared
to read your email but soon discover that the email system is temporarily
unavailable?
· Is every computer in your Head Start program
networked so that files, applications, printers, and fax machines
can be easily shared across center locations?
· Is the design of your current computer network
no longer adequate enough to support additional workstations?
A computer network needs constant monitoring and tuning to ensure
that data is transmitted as quickly and as reliably as possible.
DHS provides certified staff who are experts in configuring and
maintaining networks for optimal data transmission, reliability,
and scalability.
Digital Head Start Solutions will provide staff who will be solely
responsible for administering your computer network. We can perform
tasks such as adding and maintaining user ids and passwords, adding
workstations, installing software programs, and performing backups.
Digital Head Start Solutions consists of Microsoft and/or Novell
certified staff who are specifically skilled in planning and designing
Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs). By using
advanced network planning vendor tools and conducting needs assessments,
DHS assists our clients with selecting the best network solution
for their specific needs. We propose enhancements in specific segments
of your network, identify potential areas for slow performance in
data transmission, and design the network to handle anticipated
growth. Monitoring of the network from a centralized remote location
is also available.
